My name is Ella-Marie and my family and friends have set up a development trust to help with my future. I have cerebral palsy a condition that affects my limb control and co-ordination. The trust will help fund my equipment, whether it be a wheelchair, bike, extra therapy or medication. Thank you for Sponsoring me and I look forward to meeting you all very soon.
1st Sponsored EventOn Sunday 29th April our walk of the Taff Trail in Cardiff took place. What a fantastic day we had. Everybody met at The Lewis Arms in Tongwynlais on a beautiful sunny morning. We set off at a steady pace down the Taff Trail taking in the sunshine. There was a large crowd of us, 77 in total that took part on the day each carrying a purple balloon. Ella-Marie thoroughly enjoyed herself, smiling and singing the whole way through. We arrived at the finish at Coopers Field just over two hours later. Everyone was jubilant when we arrived at our destination cheering and clapping. We released our helium balloons at Coopers Field, we are still waiting for more balloons to be found to find out which one got the furthest!
A big big big thank you to all participants and all sponsors, we will wait for the sponsors to come in and we will let you know how much was raised.
To top the day off we have to say a big thank you to Michael Stickler who daringly swam the river Taff (dressed as a Hula girl may I add!) for £150 for The Trust. Thank you please visit my web site
